Meet Charlie, the latest addition to the Blue Whimsy dolls! I've been wanting to come up with a great pattern for a handmade boy doll and, after a few ideas, I came up with Charlie! The finished doll is the same size as the Nora and Penny dolls (18 inches), and his outfit is removable so you can add to his wardrobe! (Keep an eye out for a pyjama pattern in the near future). The Charlie pattern is great for intermediate sewers. He's customizable, so depending on your choice of fabrics for his hair, skin, and clothing, he can be made to match any little boy! Whatever you choose, he's going to be cute!!

Congratulations to Charmaine Rempel, who just won this cute pink Nora Ballerina! Thank you to everyone who entered - keep an eye out for another giveaway sometime this summer!
This month Blue Whimsy is celebrating its 1-year anniversary!! It's hard to believe a year has gone by since I made my first Blue Whimsy doll. Many exciting things have happened this year, and I'm so grateful for all the support I've had from so many people! To say thank you, and to celebrate the first year of this adventure, I'm having a doll giveaway. You could win one of these sweet Blue Whimsy Nora Ballerinas! To enter, like the BW facebook page (www.facebook.com/bluewhimsy), or follow BW on Instagram or Twitter @bluewhimsy_. Then, private message me your choice of pink or yellow ballerina. The winner will be announced on June 14th!
